In 1999, just before I began my career as a Financial Advisor, my mother retired from her long career as an educator. Despite her advanced education—she holds a Doctorate in Children’s Literature—she found navigating her pension options incredibly confusing. Her advice to me was to learn as much as I could about pensions and retirement benefits because many others, just like her, would need help understanding their options. This insight became the foundation of my approach to financial advising, fueling my passion for guiding clients through complex retirement decisions with confidence and clarity.

Throughout my career, I’ve specialized in helping clients navigate the many moving parts of retirement planning—especially those from education, government, and utility sectors. These careers often involve unique benefit systems that can be difficult to interpret. I also work closely with surviving spouses, ensuring they’re supported through life’s transitions. My goal is to simplify decisions around pensions, Social Security, and income planning so you can move toward retirement with a clear path forward.

After earning my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation, I’ve focused on providing highly personalized financial guidance through every stage of retirement planning.
